Support

Answers to the questions we are asked most, and how to reach a person if yours is not here. Every message goes to a human, and we reply to all of them.

Getting in touch

Email support@memoroam.com and we will come back to you. If you can, tell us which phone you use and what you were doing when the problem happened; it saves a round trip.

Inside the app you can also go to Profile, the settings cog, then Help and Feedback. That form sends us a little technical detail about your device automatically, which usually means we can answer faster.

Signing in

I have forgotten my password

There is not one. Memoroam has no password of its own: you sign in with Google or with Apple, and they handle it. If you cannot get in, the problem is with that account rather than with Memoroam, and Google or Apple can help you recover it.

Which account did I use?

Try both. Signing in with Google and signing in with Apple create separate Memoroam accounts even when the email address is the same, so your trips will be in whichever one you first signed up with. If you are stuck, email us and we will look it up.

Can I change the email address on my account?

Not directly, because the address comes from Google or Apple rather than from us. Change it there and it follows through to Memoroam. If you need to move your data to a different account entirely, email us.

Your data

How do I get a copy of everything?

In the app: Profile, the settings cog, Data & Privacy, then Export My Data. It builds a ZIP on your device with your profile, trips, itineraries, memories and their photos, collection, Starlight history and support tickets, as readable files.

A few things the export does not include: the larger "original" versions of your photos, your portrait and profile icon images, and itinerary share records. Email us if you need those or a complete formal request.

How do I delete my account?

Immediately, from inside the app, and it is permanent. The account deletion page explains exactly what is destroyed and what to do if you cannot sign in.

Do you sell my data?

No. There is no advertising in Memoroam, no advertising code of any kind, and nothing that follows you across other apps or websites. The privacy policy sets out everything we hold and why.

Photos and trips

Are my photos backed up?

Treat Memoroam as a place your travel photos live alongside the trip, not as a backup. When you add a photo we keep our own copies rather than your original camera file, and deleting a trip removes the memories attached to it. Keep your own backup of anything you cannot lose.

Why can I not add more photos to this trip?

Free accounts can save 30 photos to each trip and 500 in total. The Collector's Pass removes both limits. Nothing is deleted when you reach a limit.

Does Memoroam work without a connection?

No. Memoroam needs a connection to work, and it will tell you when it cannot reach us rather than failing quietly. There is no offline mode.

Packs and the collection

Are packs really free?

Yes. You get three free packs a day and packs cannot be bought, with money or with Starlight. They are the only way to get stamps, stickers and backgrounds from a pack. The shop sells named cards you can see before you buy, never a random one.

What are the odds?

Published in the app, in the Offering Rates sheet on the Market page. The rates shown there come from the same tables the server uses to open your packs.

Why does a country have no stamps?

Artwork is drawn country by country and the collection is still growing. A country with nothing in it yet shows as coming soon, and it will fill in over time.

The Collector's Pass

What does it include?

Planning on every trip rather than one at a time, no photo limits, sending a trip plan to a friend on Memoroam, extra passport pages, photo frames, globe themes, member prices in the shop and a monthly allowance of Starlight.

How do I cancel?

Through the store you bought it from, not through us. On iPhone: the Settings app, your name, then Subscriptions. On Android: the Google Play app, your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next payment and you keep everything until the period you have paid for ends.

I paid and nothing happened

Open the app and try Restore Purchases on the Collector's Pass screen, which asks the store what you own. If that does not sort it, email us with the date and we will look into it.

Notifications

Memoroam sends a morning reminder about your daily packs and question, and reminders about trips that are starting. It sends no marketing of any kind. Turn them off in the app under Settings, or in your phone's own notification settings for Memoroam.

Reporting a bug

Please do. Use Help and Feedback in the app if you can, since it sends us the technical detail automatically, or email support@memoroam.com. What helps most: what you expected, what happened instead, and roughly when.
